Kentwood Office Furniture Celebrates Grand Opening of Indianapolis Office

Indianapolis, Indiana — October 16, 2012- Kentwood Office Furniture celebrated its expansion into the Indianapolis market with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at their Indianapolis showroom on Thursday, September 27th, 2012.  Kentwood Office Furniture’s Grand Rapids management team joined the President of the Indianapolis office and the Fishers Chamber of Commerce President for the event. “We are excited to see the addition of a premier office furniture company like Kentwood to our area. Their strategic location brings growth to the northeast corridor and allows them to conveniently offer their high grade remanufactured, pre-owned and new office furniture, to both Indianapolis and Fishers”, says Dan Canan, Fishers Chamber of Commerce President.

Bob Koehne, President and Owner of the Indianapolis office, was accompanied by business leaders, community partners, family and friends for this well received event. This new office, located at 7226 East 87th Street, Suite E, marks the first entrance for Kentwood Office Furniture into the Indianapolis market and their sixth location overall.

Kentwood Office Furniture, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is the Midwest’s premier specialist in used, remanufactured and new office furniture.  Their focus is to provide businesses and organizations with well priced, well designed products at a fraction of the cost.  “Most companies are looking for top quality office furniture products, but either don’t have the funds, or aren’t willing to dedicate large portions of their budget to this expense,” say Bob Koehne.  “Providing grade A products from Herman Miller, Haworth and Steelcase that are remanufactured not only meets their budget guidelines, but does not limit their design options and functional requirements for their space.”  In addition to the remanufactured and used products, Kentwood also offers new office furniture products from companies like Hon, Global, Trendway and National.

The 8,043 square foot Indianapolis facility contains a large new and remanufactured office furniture showroom as well as an expansive used office furniture clearance center.  Customers have the option of ordering specific products that meet their needs, or selecting products right from the clearance center floor.  All products can be delivered to specific locations and many items can be taken from the clearance center at the time of purchase.
